What makeup brands do you use?

I use a range of well-known high-end brands such as MAC Cosmetics, NARS, YSL and Charlotte Tilbury. All products in my kit have been carefully tried and tested on myself and many clients to ensure they are high quality, long-lasting and suitable for a range of skin tones and skin types.

Do I need a skincare routine before makeup application?

Yes - having a simple, consistent skincare routine in the weeks leading up to your makeup appointment makes a huge difference to how your makeup looks and lasts. Well hydrated, smooth skin allows makeup to sit better, blend seamlessly and stay flawless throughout the day. You do not need an elaborate routine, but focusing on the basics - cleanse, tone, moisturise and gentle exfoliation will help create the perfect canvas. Don't forget to avoid any new products too close to your wedding day. If you would like some guidance, feel free to drop me a message.

Do you travel out?

I offer a luxury service for weddings and will travel out to your chosen location to ensure a relaxed start to your day. This allows you to fully enjoy your bridal morning with your loved ones. Travel costs quoted upon enquiry. All other appointments take place at my makeup studio, a beautifully curated space designed to provide a professional and calm environment.

How far in advance should I book my makeup?

I recommend securing your makeup appointment as soon as possible, for weddings, ideally 12-24 months in advance, particularly in peak season and weekend dates. I open my diary 2 years ahead so it is always best to enquire as soon as you have booked your venue.

How long will my makeup take?

For occasion makeup, appointments are usually up to 1 hour and 15 minutes. This allows time for a personalised consultation at the start of your appointment, where we will discuss your desired look, skin type and any specific preferences to ensure a beautifully tailored result. For weddings, a bespoke schedule is created and shared with you ahead of your day to ensure everything runs seamlessly. This ensures a calm experience for you and your bridal party with every detail carefully considered.
