TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

It is your responsibility to read through my terms and conditions before you book. Booking your appointment and paying the booking fee means you accept and agree to these contracted terms.

Booking Fee

• Booking the date/time will not be confirmed until the booking fee has been received. 

• The booking fee will secure your date and time arranged.

• You will receive a confirmation message when I have received your booking fee.

• The booking fee is deducted from the total cost quoted.

• The booking fee is non-refundable & non-transferable to another date/time.

 

Cancellations, changes and time delays

Cancellations of booking by the client 

Any payments that have been made will not be refunded.

Wedding bookings - Any cancellations within 4 weeks prior to your wedding will still be charged for.

Any makeup trials will not be refunded.

There is a minimum amount of 3 people for wedding bookings, If anyone cancels then the minimum of 3 charge still applies.

Should you need to cancel any appointments please let me know asap as this appointment could be offered to another client.

Any date/time changes could mean the original quote being revised. 

If you do not show up to your appointment the full payment will still be required.

Cancellations by me 

In exceptional circumstances such as a family emergency, hospital stay etc If I needed to cancel an appointment I have a list of fully trained professional makeup artists that I could pass your booking details on to and any amount that you have paid to me for that appointment booking will be refunded.

Payments

The final balance owed for weddings can be paid up to 1 week before your date and must be paid before your big day.

Occasion makeups and lessons can be paid on the day.

Makeup courses - Payment plans are available on request. 

Time delays 

Please ensure you are ready 5 mins prior to your booked time. If you are not ready for me on time this could result in the time being taken out of your appointment. When attending my makeup studio please message upon arrival so I can make sure i am ready for you.

Travel 

Any bookings I travel to will be charged travel expenses. Please ensure you always give me the exact location so I can give you an accurate quote. Changes in location could mean changes in the quote.

Client Responsibilities 

• Brides must have a bridal trial, this is compulsory. 

 

• Weddings - Please ensure there is room for me to set up along with a stool or chair.

​

• Minimum of 3 people per wedding. 

​

• Wedding trials can only be booked Monday-Friday due to my weekends being booked up so quickly for weddings. 

​

• Please make me aware of any skin sensitivities, infections or allergies before I do your make-up. If on a rare occasion you have any contagious infections you will be refused my service at this time.

​

• Please do not bring any children under 10 to my makeup studio. I have equipment that could easily be knocked over such as my ring light and it is not a safe place for little ones to be running around whilst Im working. 

​

• No pets allowed.

 

• Covid 19 - Please ensure your hands are freshly washed and anti bacterial gel will be provided. 

 

• If you are ill or show any covid symptoms you will need to make me aware of this with as much notice prior to your appointment as this could result in me not being able to do your appointment.

• Only 1 person in appointments at a time unless others have booked a service or attending with an under 18. If attending my make-up room please try not to bring belongings such as a coat and bags if possible please leave in car.

 My Responsibilities 

I can ensure that I will give a professional makeup service to you, with an extensive range of well- known brands like MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Morphe and Primalash. I am trained with excellent hygiene for my kit and have up to date products.

I have public liability cover for any work covered by salon gold.

My kit is always fully sanitised .

 

Photography 

To increase my portfolio I will ask for consent before taking any pictures of my clients. These may be used on my social media pages and any photographers/hairdressers will be fully credited should they wish to be. Photos will not be posted after trials only after the special day. 

The booking fee paid to secure your booking will confirm you agree to the full terms & conditions provided by Corinne Law Makeup Artist.
